Description

Globe Shade Medium is in the middle of the Copernicus family. It’s a sustainable pendant lamp designed with paper mache for creative lighting and decorating home spaces such as the dining room or kitchen.

Materials

Among the materials that make up these sustainable pendant lamps, the main one is the paper mache obtained with pulped recycled newspapers and water-based glue, dyed with natural pigments. This material is characterized by being durable and very light.

A one-meter-long black textile cable is used for its connection to the power source.

Globe Shade Medium ceiling pendant lamps use only up to 20W LED light bulbs with E27 termination (not included). You can choose from black amber, ocher red, ocher gold, sienna yellow, amber green or natural gray for the shade of this sustainable lamp. The color and the length of the cable can also be customized upon request.

Environmental characteristics

Like all Crea-re products, these lamps are sustainable thanks to the materials used to make them, such as recycled newspapers, water-based glue and dyes. All of them are natural and non-toxic. In addition, the LED light that is exclusively needed for the illumination of these lamps is innately sustainable, mercury-free and with a life cycle ten times longer than traditional bulbs. Finally, the lightness of its products avoids high environmental costs when it comes to shipments, since the lower the weight, the lower the generation of CO2 in transport.

Design features

Sustainable Globe Shade Medium pendant lamps are part of the Copernicus collection that refers to the solar system’s planets. Its appearance is porous and irregular, symbolizing the dry and cracked soil of the planet it represents: the Earth. Depending on the color of the shade chosen, you will create more sophisticated and sober spaces, in the case of black amber, natural gray or amber green; or warmer and more cheerful spaces with ocher red, golden ocher or sienna yellow. This sustainable pendant lamp is also perfect for balancing environments with cold decoration or rooms with neutral colors.
